Change is inevitable, and the best time for it is now...

I am not going to write at length about why this blog was inactive for over a year. Nor am I going to justify my absence. You have really no idea how much I wish I could do so. I have always fancied to be a writer. Somewhere my ego believed it as well. But let me assure you that this leave of absence has proved worthy. Not that it was planned or intentional. It just happened to be a huge learning experience. It would be too much if I claim to have learned anything at all. All I can commit to is that I am now aware that there is more to the world than what I presume it to be. I have recognized that there is a realm of reality beyond narcissism and ego, where things and those that are not, are different than what my intelligence perceived it to be, and beyond what my education - (read experience) had taught me.

I am attempting to come back into the realm of writing. This is after sleepless nights of thought and hours and hours of contemplation. I am fortunate to realize that though this time has has cost me many causalities, all is not lost. I have more to lose than what I have already lost. The fight is far from over.

Let me bring you upto speed on a few things that could matter. First of all, I have attempted to take charge of my life many times over now. However, lack of a strong will and partial commitment to the plan has only worsened it. This is yet another attempt to discover that shore of paradise. I still have people who care about me to support, guide, and even yell at me if needed to. I sincerely wish I don't let them down, ever again. I have registered with Nanowrimo.org, but the attempt at completing a 50000 word novel is still yet to begin, I have already lost many days. I still hope that I can fulfill this challenge for my own sake. Its scary as hell. But I must go through this.

So I hope this time around, things will be different. It really sucks to be the guy who is always wanting to do stuff. I want to be the guy who does stuff, rather than the guy who is always just wanting to. So this is me taking charge. Once you identify the need for change, there is no better time to do it than NOW.
